Hello there! I’m a senior at Loyola Marymount University, pursuing a BA in Journalism. Originally from San Diego, I’ve developed a deep passion for sports media and storytelling, which has led me to my current role as a UCLA beat writer for Sports Illustrated. Covering Bruins athletics allows me to provide in-depth analysis, game coverage, and behind-the-scenes insights into one of the most storied programs in college sports. In addition to my work at Sports Illustrated, I write, host, edit, and produce LMU’s official baseball podcast, which launched with the 2024 season. My experience extends beyond journalism, with internships in social media, marketing, and sports management across Los Angeles and San Diego, helping me build a well-rounded skill set while exploring different facets of the sports industry. I pride myself on being highly organized, goal-oriented, and adaptable, always bringing a positive, collaborative mindset to any project. I’m proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Canva, and I’m a quick learner always eager to expand my expertise. Outside of journalism, I enjoy hiking and singing—two hobbies that keep me balanced and inspired. As I approach graduation in Spring 2025, I’m excited to continue growing professionally and seeking new opportunities to further develop my career in sports media.
