Hello! I’m Madeleine Considine, a Loyola Marymount University graduate with a BA in Journalism and a lifelong passion for sports media, storytelling, and marketing. Originally from San Diego, I got my start in sports journalism as the UCLA athletics beat writer during my internship with Sports Illustrated, where I covered one of the most storied programs in college sports through game coverage, analysis, and behind the scenes reporting. During my time at LMU, I launched and produced the university’s official baseball podcast, leading coverage across the 2024 and 2025 seasons. I wrote, hosted, edited, and managed every piece of content, growing the podcast into a key part of LMU Baseball’s media presence. Alongside journalism, I’ve built hands on experience in sports marketing and game day operations, including internships in social media and marketing with organizations across San Diego and Los Angeles, and a role as a Hospitality Ambassador for TCU’s Frog Club. That mix of storytelling and marketing experience has shaped how I think about sports content: the best campaigns don’t just cover a game, they help fans fall in love with a whole season. I now live in Abilene, Texas, where I work as an Admissions Counselor at Hardin Simmons University while continuing to grow my career in sports media and marketing. I’m highly organized, goal oriented, and adaptable, and I bring a positive, collaborative mindset to every project I take on. I’m proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Canva, and I’m always eager to keep learning. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and singing, hobbies that keep me balanced and inspired.
